European League Predictions – Week 16

Hello Mathematical7.com readers,

l foresee several winning games  across the leagues this weekend. Please don’t ask me why. Winning is in the air.

French Ligue 1

Match:

AS Monaco v Paris Saint-Germain

Synopsis:

PSG face Monaco in supreme confidence following their fight back against Real Madrid midweek but they are facing a home team in decent form with three wins in their last six. This fixture was a title decider in recent times but the gulf in class now is significant. PSG have won on their last two trips to Stade Louis II.

Verdict:

2-1 (PSG to win)

Italian Serie A

Match:

Lazio v Udinese

Synopsis:

Simone Inzaghi’s Lazio team will aim to continue their fine run of five straight wins when they host Udinese. The visitors have lost on their last 4 trips to the Olimpico and with Lazio’s current form, that run should continue.

Verdict:

2-0 (Lazio to win)

German Bundesliga

Match:

SC Paderborn v RB Leipzig

Synopsis:

Despite the brave display at Dortmund, Paderborn had to settle for a draw. Their poor defensive display will likely hurt them once more. Leipzig’s quality in attack should separate these two.

Verdict:

3-2 (Leipzig to win)

Spanish LaLiga

Match:

Atletico Madrid v Barcelona

Synopsis:

Five wins in 16 matches for Atletico doesn’t inspire confidence as they host Barcelona. The Catalans have not impressed as well on the road so this might be down to who takes the initiative. There isn’t much to separate both teams, this has a draw written all over.

Verdict:

1-1

English Premier League

Match:

Newcastle United v Manchester City

Synopsis:

Man City will look to put pressure on Liverpool with a victory in the early kick-off on Saturday. City’s recent displays have been unconvincing bearing in mind they lost at Newcastle in January. Steve Bruce team were poor at Villa Park, they will need a better performance against City which is a tough ask.

Verdict:

2-0 (Man City to win)
